State Investigation Agency on Wednesday conducted searches at Jammu and Kulgam in terror related case.

A spokesman man said, "In its continuous onslaught against the terror the SIA selutes 'house searched', the premises of accused Abu Bakar and Mohd ramzan Reshi at Jammu and Kashmir. The case in hand relates to duping of public money, creation of fake passport by concealing the actual identity and further using that money for carrying out illegal activities across J&K."

The spokesman said that during the course of raids at two different locations in Jammu and Kashmir search parties have seized various incriminating material having direct bearing on investigation of the case .

Analysis of the said material would follow and Leads that would emerged would become the basis for further investigation .

It is important to state that the searches are aimed at dismantling the terror ecosystem across Jammu and Kashmir by identifying various overground workers supporting and facilitating unlawful activities. 

The raids are being carried out in coordination with concerned district police and district administration. 

SIA action came days after the counter terror agency got a strict direction from union home ministry to uproot the entire network of organised terror gangs involved in various unlawful activities. 

The senior officer of the agency has said that the effortd will continue to unearth such anti-national elements and action under law will be taken accordingly.
